#100 | Your Advocate Never Loses | Romans 8:34 | The Great 8

What up, Daily Rebels!
Most people think Jesus finished His work at the resurrection.
He didn't. The cross finished redemption.
The resurrection proved redemption.
But today Jesus is still working.
Not by dying again.
Not by suffering again.
But by praying.
Right now.
At this very moment, the risen Son of God is seated at the Father's right hand, interceding for His people. Romans 8:34 reminds us that Jesus didn't simply rise from the grave—He ascended to the throne. And from that throne, He is actively representing everyone who belongs to Him.
The word intercedes means to plead on behalf of another, to represent someone, to stand as their advocate. Every time the enemy accuses you, Jesus answers. Every time your failures seem louder than your faith, Jesus points to the cross. Every time justice demands payment, Jesus declares, "I already paid." Heaven has never stopped fighting for you because your Advocate never stops speaking for you.
In this episode, we unpack three powerful truths about Christ's intercession:
1. Jesus Knows Your Struggle — He isn't distant from your pain. He lived among us, suffered with us, and understands every weakness you face.
2. Jesus Speaks For You — While the enemy accuses, Jesus defends. Every accusation meets a Savior with nail-scarred hands.
3. Jesus Will Finish What He Started — The One who called you is keeping you. The One who justified you is interceding for you. The One who saved you will faithfully bring you home.
Ultimately, when Peter was about to fail, Jesus said, "I have prayed for you." Peter stumbled, but he didn't stay down because Christ was already interceding for him. The same Savior who prayed for Peter is praying for you today.
Final Application:
- What if you faced today knowing heaven is speaking your name?
- What fear would lose its grip?
- What temptation would lose its power?
- What anxiety would begin to shrink?
Because the cross proves He loves you.
The empty tomb proves He won.
The throne proves He reigns.
His prayers prove He isn't finished with you.

Welcome \\ Daily Rebel Mission
SPEAKER_00This podcast is for the ones who know they will rescue, but also know they will resent. Saved by grace, sent to live differently. We're not rebelling against God, we're rebelling against everything that keeps us free. Every day, we don't swing our opinions, we sharpen our lives on the word of God, the sword of the Spirit, guiding us, cutting through lives, and leading us one step at a time. We'll talk faith, identity, purpose, leadership, and what it really looks like to follow Jesus in a distracted world. Welcome to the Daily Rebel. Yo, what's good, Daily Rebels? Here we go. We're on day five, and I
Episode 100!
SPEAKER_00just want to celebrate for a second. This is the official 100th episode of the Daily Rebel, the five-day a week version, um, including the men's episode on Saturdays. You know, we've already um surpassed a hundred episodes, but this is officially episode 100 of the Daily Rebel. Man, it's been a journey, it's been awesome. We're gonna keep going. Here we go. Uh, today's title is Your Advocate Never Loses. So Romans chapter 8, verse 34, the last part. It says, He also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. So most people think Jesus finished
Jesus is STILL Working.
SPEAKER_00his work at the resurrection, but his work was not completely done. Here's what I mean the cross finished redemption, the resurrection provided redemption, but today Jesus is still moving and he's working, not by dying again, not by suffering again, but by praying right now, at this very moment. The Son is speaking your name before the Father. The one who died for you is still fighting for you. And here's the deal Paul has taken us from the cross to the empty tune, and now the throne. Jesus didn't simply rise, he ascended. He's seated at the right hand of the Father, the place of authority, honor, and victory. And from
What Does It Mean That Jesus Intercedes?
SPEAKER_00that throne, he intercedes. Heaven has never stopped fighting for you. And the word intercedes means it intercedes, it means to plead on behalf of another, to represent someone, to speak for someone. And I want you to think about that. Every moment you feel weak, Jesus is your advocate. Every moment you fail or fall, Jesus is your representative. Every moment you wonder if God still loves you, listen, Jesus points to his scars that he does. And Jesus never stops representing his people. So listen, he never stops representing his people. So
Point 1: Jesus Knows Your Struggle
SPEAKER_00number one, here are three points. Jesus knows your struggle. He understands. He isn't distant. He lived here. He was tempted. He was rejected, misunderstood. He knows weakness, not because he sinned, but because he suffered. He was persecuted, but he was also executed. The one praying for you understands exactly what you're walking through. The writer of Hebrews says that we don't have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. High priest, important, a man that that was in the flesh, stepping out of heaven to become a man, this deity, this full God, full man. He knows your struggle. So listen, the the one praying for you again understands exactly what you're walking through, which leads me
Point 2: Jesus Speaks For You
SPEAKER_00to number two. Jesus speaks for you. Your advocate, advocate never loses. The enemy accuses. Jesus answers. Your failures speak. Jesus points to the cross. Justice demands payment. Jesus said, already paid.
Every Accusation Meets A Savior With Nail Scars
SPEAKER_00Every accusation meets a savior with nail scars. Ooh, boy, let's go. Every accusation meets a savior with nail scars. Listen, the enemy reminds you God of your sin. Jesus reminds the father of his sacrifice. The enemy points to your failures. Jesus points to his finished work. And the enemy raises accusations. Jesus raises scarred hands. Your advocate has never lost a case, yo. Let's go. Number
Point 3: Jesus Will Finish What He Started
SPEAKER_00three. And Jesus will finish what he started. Your future is secure. The one who called you, he keeps you. The one who justified you, he intercedes for you. The one who saved you will bring you safely home. Jesus isn't waiting to see if you'll make it. He's making sure you do. And when Peter was about to fail, Jesus said, I have prayed for you. Even though the enemy wants to sift you, I have
Jesus Is Praying For You Right Now
SPEAKER_00prayed for you. Peter still stumbled, but he didn't stay down. Why? Because Jesus already was praying. The same savior who prayed for Peter in a moment that the devil was trying to sift him. The same
The Same Savior Who Prayed For Peter
SPEAKER_00Savior's praying for you. What if you face today, knowing heaven is speaking your name? Would fear lose its grip? Would temptation lose its power? Would anxiety shrink? Listen, the cross proves he loves you. The empty tomb proves that he won. And the throne proves that he reigns. His prayers prove that he's not finished with you yet. Because listen, redeemed rebels, your
Your Advocate Never Loses
SPEAKER_00advocate never loses. He's praying for you right now. If you're in the midst of a divorce, if you're in the midst of an addiction that you've actually been cured of, but it still screams at you to fall back. Man, if your kids are frustrated at you for a decision you made a long time ago, man, maybe you're killing it right now. Maybe you have all the joy in the world. Jesus is still praying for you. Maybe you're on the side of on the other side of this listener to this, and you're thinking, I don't know if God loves me enough. And I'm like, bro, he he loved you. You meant the cross to Jesus. What do you mean he didn't love you enough? He's there. And even in your failure, even in your frustrations, even in your habits, hurts, and hangups, he loves you. The holiness of God is praying and interceding in heaven for you. So listen, your advocate never loses. He is praying for you right now. Love you, Daily Rebels. We'll see y'all next week.
